Queen Elizabeth is undertaking her first-ever Alaskan season, marking this as the first time Cunard has explored Alaskan waters in over 20 years. In 2019, Queen Elizabeth will visit Alaska for the first time ever, as she sails from Tokyo to Vancouver, calling at a the incredible Alaskan ports, including Kodiak, Anchorage and the capital city, Juneau. This will be the first time that a Cunard ship has visited America’s “Last Frontier” since Cunard Dynasty travelled there in 1997.
Queen Elizabeth will operate four Alaska voyages in May and June 2019, sailing roundtrip from Vancouver. Each of the four, 10-night voyages will offer six fascinating destinations along the Southeast Pacific coast of Alaska and British Columbia, as well as scenic cruising in the Inside Passage and Hubbard Glacier.
Guests wanting to extend their time on board have the option of sailing from Vancouver to San Francisco or participating in the West Coast Fourth of July getaway from Vancouver to Los Angeles – a holiday sailing that is new to our deployment. For a more extensive adventure, guests can sail from Vancouver, through the Panama Canal, and all the way to Fort Lauderdale, New York, Iceland or even England. |
